Interview about my BioHackathon Europe journey

Last November, I had the privilege of participating in BioHackathon Europe 2024 in Berlin, organized by ELIXIR. As part of a special video series highlighting the event’s impact, I was interviewed by Deborah about my experiences and the projects I’ve been involved in across multiple BioHackathons.

During the interview, I reflected on how the BioHackathon Europe events have been instrumental in shaping my work. BioHackathon Europe has not only been a platform for developing innovative projects but also a catalyst for cross-domain and cross-regional collaborations. I shared how the experience helped sustain projects I co-lead, secure funding, and connect with collaborators across Europe. Beyond the tangible outcomes, the event has fostered strong, lasting connections within the European bioinformatics community—something I deeply value.

This interview has been used for the BioHackathon Europe 2025 highlights video, showcasing the broader impact of these events. For a deeper dive into my personal journey and insights, you can watch my full interview here.
